Connect WordPress to PostaraMail in one click
New registrations, WooCommerce customers and form signups go straight into your PostaraMail contacts. No API key to copy, and it works on every plan, including Free.
How it works
Install
In WordPress: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Choose the ZIP and activate.
Connect
Open PostaraMail in the sidebar, press Connect, log in to PostaraMail and press Allow.
Choose what to sync
Registrations, WooCommerce, signup forms. Contacts arrive automatically.
What you get
- Automatic contacts from new registrations and WooCommerce orders, with a clear consent notice, or a strict tick box for the EU and UK.
- Signup form as a WordPress block or shortcode, with consent, privacy link and spam protection.
- Existing users show up as “not asked yet”. They appear in your Contacts, are never emailed and do not count toward your plan. They are asked once, with a small prompt after login or one optional email. Only a "yes" makes them subscribed; a "no" makes them declined.
- Regional rules when you send. Every contact has a country. When you send a campaign you tick EU / UK, other opt-in countries, or everywhere else, with a short legal note and a count for each. EU / UK contacts are only included with a clear opt-in.
- Control it from PostaraMail or WordPress. The Websites page in your PostaraMail dashboard (and the Android app) manages the settings, the notices and the “stay in touch” email. The plugin follows it.
- Never lose a signup. If PostaraMail is unreachable or your plan is full, signups wait and are retried automatically.
- Plan usage in WordPress with an Upgrade button, and a notice when your plan is full.
- Consent proof. Every contact is stored with the exact wording they saw.
- Safe by design. The connection can only add contacts and read your automations. Disconnect any time in WordPress or in PostaraMail under Settings → Connected websites.
A note on permission
PostaraMail is for permission-based email only. Many countries (the EU, UK, Canada, Australia and others) expect people to opt in; others, like the US, require an unsubscribe link and honest identification. The plugin supports both approaches and its wording is a general template, not legal advice, so please have it checked for your business.
